4 upcoming events on pharma,
distribution management, and contracts

This March Revitas will be taking a couple trips up and down the East coast. Pull out your calendars to see if you’ll be able to meet up!

Revitas will be exhibiting at the HDMA 2013 Distribution Management Conference and Technology Expo in Tampa, Fla. on March 3 to 6. This event is designed for healthcare supply chain executives and technology professionals to learn new perspectives on a variety of critical topics. If you’re attending, stop by booth #602 and say hello!

Moving up the east coast, we’ll be in Baltimore for the 4th Annual Government Programs Summit on March 11 to 13.The summit is for branded and generic pharmaceutical manufacturers to meet with policy makers from each government agency that affects their business. The timing couldn't be better, considering all of the approaching milestones for the Affordable Care Act this year. We’ll be there discussing how manufacturers can address their current challenges; let us know if you’d like to meet up in the comments below.

For those of you who won’t be traveling in March, you can still get your fix of Revitas advice with these two webinars:

Our own Jon Smith will be featured in a Knowledge Congress webinar titled “Managing the Margins: A Case Study on Winning the Battle with Pricing Incentives.” On March 22, he’ll join thought leaders from Deloitte Consulting and Sidley Austin LLP to explore contracting issues and how to effectively manage chargeback submissions and complex, multi-tier rebate structures.

On March 25, we team up with IACCM for the webinar, “Managing Contract Performance -- How to Effectively Execute after Execution.” IACCM’s Tim Cummins joins a special guest panel including Louis Calmenson, Head of Contract Management for North America at Ericsson, and Rigard Geyser, Commercial Manager for ELB Engineering Services. The group will explore why it is essential to effectively manage contracts after execution and why ditching the old “sign and file” mentality in favor of a more robust strategy will lead to improved outcomes. Registration will open in early March, so be sure to check back on our website next week!

And as always, check back with us after these events for recaps of what we learned.
