Jason previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Plex Systems from January 2013 to December 2017 and was a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Jason joined Plex from Oracle, where he was Senior Vice President of Talent Management Cloud Applications. He joined Oracle in 2012 through the acquisition of Taleo, a pioneer in cloud software where he held several executive positions between 2007 and 2012. Between 2010 and 2012, Jason served as Taleo’s Executive Vice President of Products and Technology, where he led the company’s product strategy, product management, engineering and cloud services. Prior to this, Jason founded Taleo’s small and medium-sized business (SMB) unit, where he had global responsibility for sales, marketing, product development and services. During his tenure, Taleo’s SMB products were a major contributor to the company’s growth, as the company became the undisputed market leader with more than 4,500 customers worldwide.
Previously, Jason held a variety of executive positions at PeopleSoft, Oracle and Price Waterhouse. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is on the university’s Advisory Board for the School of Information.

Giving Back to the Local Community
At Model N, we believe that we achieve great things together, and with that, we’re excited to announce the return of our Giveback Initiative at Rainmaker24. As a group, we can profoundly impact the local Austin community. This year we are happy to announce that we’re working with Austin Angels, an organization that supports the Austin foster care community.
The Austin Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
At Rainmaker24, during our Giveback Initiative activity on Monday, June 10th from 4:00-5:00 pm, we’ll work together to build:
- 50 Summer Sunshine Boxes filled with toys, games, outdoor activities, handwritten cards and more to keep children busy during their long summer break
- 100+ “brain bags” filled with fidget toys, high protein snacks, affirmation cards and more
- 50 Boredom Jars filled with popsicle sticks with activities, games, craft ideas, for children over the summer
In addition to our activity, Model N, in lieu of a swag bag, is donating $10,000 to Austin Angels to fund “back-to-school” outfits for 200 children in the foster care community.
